Working on a data-driven tool called Conscious Consumer, which I will use to compare pricing across fashion brands as well as scrape their websites for information on their sustainability practices.

Most brands now create sustainability reports to show their goals for the future regarding a reduced carbon footprint. On the right you can view an example from Inditex which is a Spanish fashion group that includes well-known fast fashion brands like Zara, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Bershka and more.

For this project I’m using Ruby on Rails to build a web application with dashboarding functionality, where users can create reports on their favorite brands using dropdown options.
